I'll Be Back...and Cute Baby Pics

So I should've posted this about a month ago, but better late than never, right?

I will be taking a break from the blog until the new year.  Our little miss arrived November 3 and we are just eating her up.  There is something so precious about perspective that is allowing me to enjoy this baby at a slower pace than I did the others.  Perhaps it's because I know what happens next; I packed up her newborn clothes yesterday and had the stark realization that she's growing up, just like the others did.
Before we could catch our breaths, it was Thanksgiving and now the Christmas season is in full swing.  Aside from adjusting to a newborn, anyone with a child on the spectrum knows the holidays are synonymous with stress.  We are trying for that not to be the case, but with multiple holiday parties and travel and schedule changes it is almost inevitable.  To combat that, I'm trying to make all the days surrounding the crazy days a little slower, a little more relaxed, but keeping the basic structure.  We are still homeschooling - what I think of as "homeschool lite," I did not take off in honor of new baby like I had originally planned because I found our home was more peaceful with structure, even if we are doing a little less.  There's lots of life lessons happening which is one of the most valuable allowances homeschool provides.

The boys are mostly just enjoying their new sister.
Come new year, look for more posts and a fancy new banner.  I'll be working on some updates to make the site a little better.

Thank you so much for reading!!!
